Morris County Covid 19 At-Home Testing

Morris County Office of Health Management is now offering At-Home COVID-19 Testing.

Testing Eligibility: Morris County Residents or Non-Residents working in Morris County. If you are a non-resident, you must submit proof of employment in Morris County (e.g Employee ID, Pay-Stubs, Contact Information of Employer), please allow some time for documentation to be approved.

The County of Morris is offering two types of COVID-19 testing. Test kits will be mailed to the address provided on the registration form. The test kits should be mailed back with the provided pre-paid shipping label. The two test options are listed below.

Saliva Test

  • All ages
  • Conducted under the supervision of an online Vault test supervisor via Zoom Video Conference.
  • Must have access to a personal, family or friend’s online Zoom account.
  • Must have a personal email address.
  • Parents must make an email address for each child being registered.
  • Client will be notified of results up to 24-48 hours, via e-mail address.
  • YOU MUST REGISTER EACH PERSON, INCLUDING CHILDREN INDIVIDUALLY, USING THE LINK BELOW. PLEASE OPEN A NEW BROWSER WINDOW FOR EACH REGISTRATION. DO NOT REGISTER A CHILD IN THE SAME SESSION THAT YOU REGISTER AN ADULT OR VAULT HEALTH WILL ASK TO COLLECT CREDIT CARD INFORMATION. YOU SHOULD NOT PROVIDE ANY CREDIT CARD INFORMATION.

Nasal Test (Symptomatic Clients Only)

  • 18 years or older.
  • Self-administered nasal swab.
  • Must have a personal email address.
  • Client will be notified of results up to 24-48 hours, via email address.

Test results are sent to the email within 24 to 48 hours. While awaiting test results, the person should quarantine. If you test positive, or are having any symptoms, please call your healthcare provider. Expect a call from your local health department for contact tracing. If you test negative, but are considered a close contact, you still have to complete your quarantine.

Protection

Older adults and people who have severe underlying chronic medical conditions such as heart or lung disease or diabetes seem to be at higher risk for developing more serious complications from COVID-19 illness. Please consult with your health care provider about additional steps you may be able to take to protect yourself.
